This crown is a 3D modeling project I took on to be 3D printed via a nylon SLS printer. I was given a 2D sketch along with dimensions. The client wanted a hammered metal look, and she planned to paint the print gold. She already had a lion head that she wanted to attach to the crown which is why the model is missing the lion head. The inside of the crown is 192 mm. This is the second model I've done to be 3D printed, and I'm excited to see how much detail is preserved with the nylon SLS process as my research has shown the resolution of this process to be quite high.
